Organic Cotton Poncho in Bronze with an Airy Mesh Knit

Bronze gives this LANARTO poncho its warm, understated character. The earthy shade works beautifully with black, cream and natural tones as well as stronger colours, while highlighting the distinctive structure of the open knit.

The poncho is knitted from 100% organic cotton. Its airy mesh pattern gives the generous shape a light appearance and beautifully highlights the characteristic diagonal lines of the design. Layer it over a shirt, long-sleeved top or blouse to create looks ranging from relaxed to more elegant.

A distinctive shape finished with plenty of handwork

What may not be immediately apparent from the finished poncho is that the work is far from over once the knitting is complete. The knitted sections are carefully finished, linked and assembled by hand to create the characteristic poncho shape. The open-knit sections and diagonal construction in particular require precision and experience during assembly.

A significant part of each poncho is therefore completed by hand. In our own LANARTO workshop in the Oderbruch region of Brandenburg, Germany, we carry out the individual production stages ourselves – from knitting and linking to assembly and final inspection.

The combination of open-knit structure, distinctive construction and skilled hand-finishing makes this poncho one of our more elaborately crafted designs.
